Mabuhay! I’m Leonah,

a Product Designer in Los Angeles, originally from Manila, Philippines.

I blend systems & design thinking to make things beautiful and purposeful.

I love solving complex problems into simple, “anybody-friendly” solutions.

How I got here:

💛 I’ve always known I wanted to build a career rooted in service. As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer and pursued a Humanities and Social Sciences-focused track in High School. I led student council, constantly volunteered in youth programs, where I learned to lead with empathy.

🎨 Creativity came naturally. I explored marketing through passion projects: growing businesses I co-founded with my sister. This opened the door to freelance design work and in-house marketing roles, where I learned how to breathe life into brands.

🎓 Craving growth outside of the creative track, I pursued a degree in Management Information Systems at Ateneo de Manila University. It blended business, data, and systems thinking, giving me a foundation I’d later lean on in UX.

🧠 My first UX internship came during college, working with a Seattle-based startup. Around the same time, I took a design thinking class, and never looked back. UX felt like home: the intersection of creativity, systems, and empathy.

🌎 After graduating in 2023, I moved from Manila to Los Angeles, landing in a much larger and more competitive market. To sharpen my skills and fully pivot into product design, I enrolled in a UI/UX certification program—and committed to building from there.
